How much does a Queenstown photoshoot cost?
Packages start from NZ$600 for a one-hour session for couples or families of up to 5. The Tour Groups package is NZ$800 for 2 hours at 2 locations for groups up to 30. The Deer Park Adventure package — which includes the private permit — is NZ$1,200. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include professional editing and online gallery delivery.
How many photos will we receive?
A 1-hour session typically produces 50 to 80 professionally edited images. A 2-hour session produces around 120 to 160. All images are delivered in full resolution via a private online gallery within 5 working days. You can download directly to any device.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Queenstown weather changes quickly. For most sessions we can adapt timing or location on the day — moody overcast light often produces our best results. For outdoor sessions affected by heavy rain, we will work with you to reschedule. We know the weather windows here better than anyone.
Can we choose our location?
Yes. When you book we will ask for your preferences and make recommendations based on the season, light conditions, and your group size. Popular spots include Lake Wakatipu, Arrowtown's autumn laneways, Moke Lake, and Deer Park Heights. We will guide you toward the best option for your day.
What should we wear?
Wear what makes you feel like yourselves. Coordinating rather than matching works well for families. Avoid very bright logos or patterns that date quickly. Layers are practical in Queenstown's changeable climate. We send a full preparation guide when you book, covering outfits, timing, and what to expect.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. We photograph families regularly and know how to get natural, relaxed images of kids without forcing it. Sessions are unhurried. If your children need a break we build it in. The result is always better when everyone is comfortable.
